If you’re looking for a faith community that’s committed to both personal healing and collective justice, you’re in the right place.
We gather at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays inside the cafeteria of the Academy of Mount St. Ursula on Bainbridge Avenue at E. 199th St. in the Bronx.
Take the D train or the 4 train to Bedford Park Blvd.
D Train: Get off at Bedford Park. If you ride near the rear of the train you will be near the Bedford Park Exit. As you exit the turnstile and walk past the booth, continue straight out onto Bedford Park Blvd. Turn left and walk up out of the underpass. You will pass Valentine and Briggs and then turn right on Bainbridge Ave. Then walk less than a block and turn up into the Mt. St. Ursula parking lot.
4 Train: Get off the train at the Bedford Park/Lehman College stop. Walk down the stairs, through the turnstile, then down more stairs to Bedford Park Blvd. Turn right and cross Jerome Ave., then Grand Concourse, then Valentine and Briggs. Turn right on Bainbridge Ave. Then walk less than a block and turn up into the Mt. St. Ursula parking lot.
26 or 34 Bus: Get off at the corner of Bainbridge and Bedford Park and you will see the sign for the Academy of Mt. St. Ursula up on the hill on that corner. Walk to the corner where that sign is and continue up Bainbridge for less than a block and turn up into the Mt. St. Ursula Parking lot.
What to Expect
We worship from 11 a.m. until 12:30 pm. There’s no pressure – just inspiring music, opportunities to pray, a relevant message and deep reflection.
Dress however you feel comfortable – some people dress up, others wear jeans or sweatpants. It's up to you.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. While you wait for the 11 a.m. worship, you’re welcome to light bites to eat and delicious coffee.
